About
Scott Miller is a professional photographer in Johnstown, Pennsylvania specializing in portraiture, senior photos, families and advertising. Scott attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1996 and Rochester Institute of Technology 1997 way back when film used to exist.
Shortly afterwards in 1999 Scott moved to Los Angeles where he worked at the world famous Smashbox Studios. Smashbox was a life changing experience that most photographers could only dream of. Scott worked at Smashbox for almost 4 years where he got to assist and learn from at least 100 of the worlds greatest fashion and celebrity photographers. The experience working daily with Hollywood’s A-list celebrities and photography icons was priceless. In 2004, after 4 years of assisting and working on his portfolio Scott went on his own to work as a professional photographer.
Scott has photographed dozens of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities. Will Ferrell, Mickey Rourke, Christina Ricci, Ewan McGreggor, Ashley Tissdale, Ty Reece, Dakota Fanning to name a few. He has also photographed advertising campaigns for Silver Jeans, 1921 Jeans and Not Your Daughters Jeans which were advertised internationally with five story billboards from Times Square to Los Angeles. Scott’s work has also been published in Allure, Teen Vogue, Oprah, Total Film, 944 Magazine and Vanity Fair.
After 10 great years in Los Angeles Scott moved back to Pennsylvania after the death of his mother in 2009. Today Scott works with his family business making Punkys Soft Shells but he will never turn down a photography opportunity.
