PRICING
Package 1: 3 Looks $375 3 Looks
Package 2: 4 Looks $475 4 Looks
Package 3: 5 Looks $575 5 Looks
All photo packages are based on looks. A look can be determined by a change of clothing, make up, or change of location. I am very flexible, easy to work with, and I cater to every client’s specific needs. I always over-shoot and take my time to capture different personalities and expressions. I try to make sure we have a commercial and theatrical shot for every look or outfit change. I shoot anywhere from 50-100 images per look, then edit down each look to the best 40-50 images. I prefer to shoot headshots with natural daylight, but I also have the option to shoot in studio. I like shooting on location and changing up the scenes to keep my work edgy and fun, while at the same time keeping in mind that it is a head shot and not a fashion shoot.
MAKEUP
Makeup Prices for Women and Men:
3 looks is $150.00 and $25.00 per additional look.
I feel that if you are going to invest in professional headshots, then you should also have professional makeup. It can make an impressive difference. I have a long list of talented makeup artists that I work with which I can provide for you.
You do have the option to do your own makeup or provide your own stylist.
CONSULTATION
I prefer to sit down and have a 20-30 minute meeting with my clients before the shoot day. I feel this is very important and necessary to get a feel for our personalities and make the shoot day run smoothly. I will go over everything thoroughly about how I shoot, the clothing you need to bring, makeup, hair, and all the other details needed before and after our shoot.
If you have an agent or manager please let me know what they are looking for, whether it is commercial, theatrical, tight crop, natural light, studio, etc. I encourage you to bring any magazine pages, favorite headshots, examples, or any ideas you may have. I can match almost any shot you bring me providing it is within reason or budget.
*There is a $50 non-refundable deposit required to hold your spot. Make all checks payable to Scott Miller Photography. Please make all cancellations five business days prior to scheduled photo session.
WARDROBE
I always find that no matter how experienced an actor is they never bring enough wardrobe. If we decide on 3 looks, you should plan enough for 15 looks. I like to change locations and move around often, and not every look fits the mood or setting.
Here are some suggestions on what to bring.
Start with your favorite outfits and colors that you are complimented on the most. Bright colors are great: blue, green, orange, yellow, earth tones, browns, burgundy, solids, denims, dark grays, blacks, layers and anything that will make your eyes or complexion stand out.
*Please stay away from bright whites, pastels, patterns, distracting prints, text and anything that will distract or take away from your face.

Photographer Guarantee and Client Responsibility Agreement:
1. By reading this agreement, the client understands that he/she has reviewed Scott Miller’s web site and/or his portfolio in person and is hiring Scott Miller based on his style of photography as represented by his body of work.
2. It is also understood that all of Scott Miller’s work is technically guaranteed. This means everything the photographer controls is covered. Re-shoots will only be granted due to technical issues (including, but not limited to: bad film, malfunctioning equipment and lab errors in processing). Re-shoots will not be granted based on dissatisfaction due to the style of the final products. Wardrobe decisions by client do not constitute grounds for a re-shoot ( see 3. below) Missing "looks" or wrong "looks" decided upon by client but later disagreed upon by agent do not constitute grounds for a re-shoot. (See 4. below) Dissatisfaction with makeup does not constitute grounds for a re-shoot. (See 5. below)
3. Wardrobe is the client's responsibility. A wardrobe list is emailed or given to all clients during the consultation, stressing the importance of a broad range of clothes. The photographer is not responsible for unsatisfactory results due to client lack of preparation. Furthermore, the final wardrobe chosen on the day of shooting will be made with the client's full participation and agreement. Wardrobe decisions by client as agreed with photographer will not constitute grounds for a re-shoot (see 2. above) Note: if I make a suggestion during the shoot, you always have the option to say no.
4. Marketing strategy and all around basic attitude is the client's responsibility. Possible looks for showcasing various markets are discussed during the consultation and then finalized with the client's full participation and agreement on the day of the shoot. Agent disagreement with client’s choices of looks as agreed with photographer does not constitute grounds for a re-shoot. (See 2. above)
Note: Remember part of your preparation involves discussing with your agents ahead of time, what they would like portrayed in your headshots! Furthermore, you need to tell me what you want to say in your photos. I can only guide you to the end result; I cannot decide it for you.
Note: It is also your responsibility to speak up during a shoot if you feel like you are squinting, not after the fact when it is too late!
5. All makeup is approved by client BEFORE the photo shoot. Not liking the makeup after a shoot is not grounds for a re-shoot.
Note: It is your responsibility to speak up if you do not like your makeup.
6. In addition, the client also understands that under copyright laws, unless agreed upon otherwise, the negatives or high-resolution images will remain the property of Scott Miller and that all final images will have a copyright mark that shall not be removed under any circumstances. The client also understands that printed, or online proof sheets, are raw, uncorrected, unedited samples of the final custom handmade print. For an actor, the proof sheet is to serve as a guide in deciding what to choose for a final 8x10. For a photographer, the proof sheet is to serve as a guide in deciding how bright or how dark to go on a final 8x10. Brightness or lack of it on a proof sheet is in no way representative of the final product.
